Last Updated: 12 May 2025 | Cogwright, Bangkok, Thailand
This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the Cogwright website, and how you can manage them. We use cookies to keep the site functioning and to understand how it is being used. We do not use cookies to identify you personally.

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember certain information across pages or across visits. Cookies are widely used and are generally harmless; most websites rely on them for basic functionality.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active — cannot be disabled
These cookies are required for the website to function. They handle session management and store your cookie preference choices. Without them, the site cannot operate correctly.
Analytics Cookies
Optional
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people navigate the site. The data is anonymised and is used only to improve the website. No personally identifying information is collected.
Marketing Cookies
Optional
If enabled, these cookies allow us to understand how visitors arrive at the site from external sources. At present, we run no paid advertising, so these cookies are inactive. The toggle is provided for transparency.
Preference Cookies
Optional
These cookies remember choices you make on the site, such as your preferred language or region settings. Disabling them means certain settings may not be retained between visits.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Google Analytics may set its own cookies when analytics are enabled. Google's privacy policy governs how these are handled: policies.google.com/privacy. We do not use cookies from social media platforms or advertising networks.
4. Cookie Duration
Session cookies — deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used for basic navigation.
Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period. Our cookie preference cookie is stored in your browser's localStorage and persists until you clear it or change your preferences here. Analytics cookies set by Google typically expire after 2 years.

Disabling optional cookies will not prevent you from using the website, though some minor features may be affected. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the site to work.
